We use DHL for all our orders that contain posts, this service can also be specified at the checkout for small orders that are able to go through Royal Mails postal system but the benefits of upgrading to DHL are:

What’s more, their revolutionary tracking service enables receivers to watch the progress of their delivery on a real-time map from end to end so you shouldn’t need to contact us and ask us to track your parcels.
To give their SMS and email notifications that personal touch they even tell you the name of your DHL Local driver, as well as the position you occupy in their delivery queue.
As well as keeping customers informed at every stage of the journey, they believe in maximising choice and convenience. That’s why they provide access to a suite of rescheduling options both on the day of delivery and the night before, allowing customers to take delivery of their goods in a way that suits. If you wish to reschedule, you can:
- Select an alternative delivery date
- Opt for delivery to a nominated neighbour
- Have the parcel left in a specified safe place
- Collect the parcel from a local pick up store
All Orders Containing Posts will automatically be sent by DHL due to the size/weight which offers a next working day service in most cases (Delivery the next working day after the day we dispatch it).
DHL offers a 1hr delivery window and live tracking with text or email updates. (Please remember to provide a mobile number for text updates).
Where a combination of Joining Links, Diamonds, and Screw Eyes increases the weight to above 2kg then items will be sent by DHL which is a next working day service in most cases.
Joining Links, Diamonds, and Screw Eyes purchased without any chain can be dispatched via Royal Mail 2nd class and have a standard charge of £ 2.50 or you can choose to upgrade to 1st class or DHL for a 1hr delivery window the next working day.
If your location supports Saturday and Sunday delivery options and pre-noon etc then these services will be shown at the checkout.
Islands and Highlands
Please note that delivery to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, I.O.M, Northern Ireland and Scilly Isles and can often take 1 extra day to these locations.
A few remote areas of Scotland that are not classed as Highlands or Isles may still take 1 extra day for delivery even on the next day service, you will be informed of the intended delivery date and time via text/email after we dispatch the goods.
If you find that your postcode is not listed at the checkout then please email or call us with your postcode so we can check/amend the postcode database.
Please note that our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9.30am – 4.00pm and Friday 9.30am – 2.00pm and we aim to dispatch all orders received by 12 noon the same day if they only contain standard off the shelf products, orders received after noon will be processed and dispatched the next working day. If there is a custom requirement in the order then a estimated delivery date will be given at the time of ordering.
We would advise customers to either order a few days in advance of the date that the goods are actually required or to hold off booking contractors in to fit the items until you have actually taken delivery of the goods. Although we will process and dispatch the goods the same day in most cases or the next working day at the latest, we cant be held responsible for any delays caused by Royal Mail or DHL.
